StorMagic Software-Defined Storage Expands Route to Market to Address Customer Needs at the Edge

BRISTOL, England –17 April, 2019– StorMagic®, simplifying storage at the edge, announced today that its software-defined storage product is now available to be sold by Dell Technologies direct and channel sales teams around the world. Dell EMC’s Software and Peripherals (S&P) group offers a full range of solutions that complement Dell EMC products and help end users optimize productivity, increase efficiency and keep costs to a minimum.

Many end users, particularly at small, edge locations are looking for just two servers to run all their local applications, but need a simple, very low-cost method to deliver virtual storage and high availability. The combination of Dell EMC PowerEdge servers and StorMagic software delivers this to edge and small datacenter customers globally. The two companies already have joint customers that are meeting their performance and high availability requirements at very low overall solution price points.
